Our time-tested, 4-step home building process gives you the speed, efficiency, and simplicity you’re looking for. The best part is that we walk you through every step, staying in constant communication, so that you never have to guess what’s been done or what’s coming next. Here’s how we do it:
Step 1: Discovery
Pick a community in an area you love in Omaha. We build in beautiful neighborhoods in Bennington, Papillion, Bellevue, Ashland, Gretna, and Fremont with a range of home sizes, styles, and amenities. Once you’ve narrowed down the area, review the site plan to find the perfect lot for you. Choose from large corner lots for space and privacy, or smaller ones for easy maintenance. Then, pick the floorplan that best serves your needs — now and into the future.
Step 2: Design
Now for the fun part! In this step you’ll choose the features and finishes that will go into your new home — flooring, fireplace design, door hardware, light fixtures, and more. Once preliminary selections are made, you’ll sign your contract and submit your earnest money deposit so that we can kick off the process. You’ll meet with our Design Studio consultant to make final selections, then we get started!
Step 3: Plan
Now we’ll work behind the scenes to finalize your home plans, secure building permits, and order any special products. You’ll sign off on your blueprints and submit custom change order payments (if any) so that we can begin construction. This step includes:
- Blueprints redlined
- Plans to draftsman for drawing
- Blueprints reviewed
- Clients sign off on blueprints
- Submit custom change order payments
- Send to permit
Step 4: Construction
This is when those weeks of designing and planning pay off with a smooth, stress-free construction process! Sit back, relax, and enjoy watching your new home come to life while we keep you in the loop and let you know if we need anything. Here’s what we’ll be working on:
